Enchante Mademoiselle!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I proudly present...A Little More Fancy!

If you understood that Beauty & the Beast reference, we are going to be wonderful friends.

As a simple yet entertaining way for you to get to know who I am and things I adore, I decided I would answer a small questionnaire that all of the wonderful ladies from my absolute favorite magazine, Southern Weddings, answered about themselves.  Since it's my ultimate dream to work for them someday, I figured this was the perfect way to get started!

Hometown:
Cochranton, Pennsylvania (but I'm truly a Southern girl at heart)
Alma Mater:
Florida Southern College
Major:
Print Journalism and Public Relations, with a minor in Business Administration
Birthday:
August 24
How I got into weddings:
While planning a fake wedding in my high school psychology class, I realized that  I was meant to be a wedding planner.  For me, the project wasn't just something fun and easy at the end of the year; I spent hours researching color trends and DIY wedding projects; I researched wedding dress designers and the best wedding blogs in the country.  I made lists of caterers and venues; I poured over my budgeting sheet trying to make everything fit.  I made planning a fake wedding into ten times the amount of work that it needed to be, and it brought me so much joy.  5 years later, I still haven't changed.  What can I say?  I'm obsessed. Someday, I hope to open my own wedding consultation and design business and/or work for Southern Weddings, The Knot, or Martha Stewart Weddings.
Favorite food:
Pizza and mac n' cheese.  I know...I'm like a six-year-old boy.
Favorite color:
Pink and green
Favorite part about working at SW:
Ok, so I don't work at SW.  But someday I hope I will!  I want to learn as much as I can about the wedding industry from those lovely ladies while offering any creative, sparkling, and magical ideas I can!
You would be surprised to know:
I've never had a boyfriend, and I'm almost 21!  And yes, I have normal social skills - I'm just waiting for the one.
I am committed to:
My faith.  This very modern world makes it harder and harder to have strong beliefs and morals, but I know what I stand for, and I won't let anyone persuade me otherwise.
I love:
Christmas, sparkles, Disney, discovering new music, pink lipstick, singing, books, coffee, and people
I know:
God has an incredible plan for my life!
My motto:
"If you can visualize it, if you can dream it, there's some way to do it." -Walt Disney
